Vintage set of toilet accessories

Everybody has its needs, toilet wise… 😉

This original vintage set of toilet accessories is designed and made specifically for a vintage looking vacation rental home, situated in an old French farm. The bathroom has also been designed and built by Vintage with Love, and thus integration with all bathroom elements was crucial.

The set consists of three elements:

• a single toilet roll holder, with an integrated shelf to put away your phone
• a multiple toilet roll holder
• a holder for the toilet brush

All elements have been made out of re-used wood, in this case parts of an old staircase, found on the terrain of the farm itself. The carefully selected usable parts have been thoroughly cleaned, and adapted for the various elements. Besides wood, salvaged metal has been incorporated and prepared to achieve a rustic look. This metal pieces also came from the site itself.

This is a typical example of how I like to work: looking for material with a vast history, preferably on the site itself, where that material can be re-used to fulfil modern needs. Useful, beautiful and environmentally conscious. This results in unique second life things, remade in a vintage style, with a lot of love. And it shows.
